Website Up Again

As you can see, Munky has set the site back up again! For those who didn't visit the forum and aren't aware, the website was suspended back in October for "high CPU usage" and they didn't resolve this problem until recently.

Feel free to shower us with comments about how much we were missed ;) (hinthint), and thanks to munky for the all the work as admin.

Massive update and recruiting STAFF!

Hi everyone,
As I told there will be alot of manga update or new manga I've added to the collection! there are Oneshots, Active,and Complete!! so happy downloading also please comment to say thanks~ (Because I think I'm going to faint from looking at the computer too much xD)

Also we're recruiting for more staff that can upload around 3-4 updates a month (that's about one update per week) and willing to be active around the forum and site!! If interest please email at "manga.garden@gmail.com" I'm sure Munky will let you be a staff also

News

Hi all. I might've not been so visible the past while, but I've still been checking by and doing mostly "behind-the-scenes work" that no one probably notices. Perhaps I'll have some dl updates later. Most of the older series (from before the move) have finally been updated to the current releases (whew).

Scanlator (not so new) news:

• If you didn't know yet, Serenus-Dreamers has a "new" website. If you didn't bookmark their splash page (still the same address), the new index is at http://www.serenus-dreamers.com/Dreams/


• Manga Abyss has changed forum (see scanlators directory)


• Boku-Tachi has closed down (posted Sept 11). Alas, another one of the older scanlation teams has retired. We aren't hosting anything by them at the moment, but I wanted to note this anyway because they were one of the first few groups I knew and I love their quality work.


• Another if you didn't know yet: Intercross set up a website around their 2nd anniversary (see scanlators directory). Dl links can be found there, and they plan to update new releases ~1 week after being posted in their forum. - And I fixed all the broken links to their site in the new manga series (the .html was missing off the end - or you can take off the index.html completely).

I just want to announce to manga readers who visits this site that our lovely scanlators Serenus-Dreamers have announced to have some kind of virus brewing around their forum...They all wanted us to take caution to not enter until further notice.  Apparently, the virus(es) is/are Trojan <___<;  I hate Trojan personally b/c my labtop got really infected 2 months ago...I also attained spyware too...so not fun at all... Please continue to support them when this is all sorted out.

Virus Threat

Hi, this is haruka_maple. I took off a week for my summer cold. Sorry for the trouble.

Meanwhile, when I came back, I noticed that there was a problem in the forum. It kept wanting me to download some add-ons from a site. Thankfully, my one of 20 programs blocked it, and my pc was safe. However, from the chatbox and some comments on the forum, we saw that many people were having the same problem or worse. The infamous trojans. I’m really hoping that no one’s pc has been crashed yet (hopefully you guys have an anti-virus program). To guarantee your pc’s safety, we’re going to shut the site for the time being (including the forum). They’ll still be available but there will be no updates. That means, please don’t visit us until we address further more and that the matter is solved. As much as we’d like to bring you more updates, we want your pc to be safe. Hopefully, the matter will be solved soon and it’d be safe for anyone to come here. Thanks you guys for your cooperation.

this is what will happen to you if you are really curious and go in SD's site...First to protect yourself...you need to have NORTON on...I believe NORTON ANTIVIRUS is the only one that is capable of blocking it...I have just been informed by my friend who went on SD's site..and it is indeed the TROJAN virus...

so please do not go...

A few more manga titles

To be exact, there are two titles transferred over from the old site (Goong and Junai Junkie) along with two spiffy new titles (My Girl and Oresama Ouji). They were sent to me by Kawaiisue back who knows when, which I've only gotten around to it now. ^^;

Also, our music section has been updated by Dysdaimon. And take advantage of the free time she currently has to send some requests through our tagboard.

On another note, how do you like the new site so far? Got any suggestions or comments for us? Send them our way!
