It's almost the end of May, but we still updates for the month. ^_^;;

Site News:  There's been some host issues and a lot of links have to be fixed.

2011/12 December Updates

Sooo here's the monthly announcement. If you're subscribed to our news feed (please do), you already know that we're finishing annual year-end maintenance. Blehh. Real Life + tech probs + holiday celebrations + a whole load of host problems really extended the torture.

-Checked & Updated Links
-Re-UL files
-Updated Project Info Pages

It's a lot of manual work and content!
Help us by reporting problems in the comments of our updates (like this one!).

There's also a looong list of ~18 projects now under Dropped (see the news feed). We're still hosting them, but you're not gonna see any updates to them unless someone picks 'em up.

But yeah, we'll still remove any titles we don't want to host anymore + have no comments b/c there's no point if we don't want to UL and no one wants to DL. After some debate, we did remove a few w/ comments due to hosting probs, sorry!

So leave a comment in the page of projects you like or one day it may disappear.
Also, the holidays is a perfect time to visit your favourite [sc] people and leave a comment to thank them and say Happy xmas/new year. If you don't, they may disappear!

Look for Ch Updates soon (this week, promise)! There's also a little maintenance left, too.

P.S. - MF deleted Ani-com ch01 [A-M] and we can't find it anymore (*&$!). If you have this zip released by [Akatsuki] or know where, pretty please leave us a comment!

2011/11 November Updates

Time flies! And changes come! After our sudden server crash (we still can't retrieve the old domain), we lost regular visitors (and commenters). Big online readers have grown while small sharing and and [SC] communities have been closing down.  We will soon be turning 6 years old and still alive for now.

Any projects that never received visitor interest (no comments in their posts) will be reviewed and those that no longer interest the staff will be removed. It takes a lot of time to maintain records of many titles (we continue tracking oneshots and completed titles for changes). So be sure to leave a comment if you like a title!
Also, some groups have changed their distribution policies and we'll have to look at those. Usually, we continue what's been shared and no longer add any other titles.

The [SC] Directory will also be undergoing it's regular monthly maintenance.

Things Just Aren't Going My Way

I'll spare you the details of the antagonism that I feel. The diluted version is that I'm in the middle of my exams at the moment. It's week #4 of exams, I'm recovering from the cold, and I can't get into a class I need next year because it's full.

• Several pages on this website are not working. It may be due to some bug or an internal change that messed up the coding. This might not be fixed for a while. The affected Pages: About Us, Browse by Keywords, Top15, Active manga without images (this was noted in an update a while back).
  Tags still work, but there's no list of all the tags on the website - not that it worked properly before (it didn't list all of our tags).


• Questions about Broken Links: Please mention them here in the updates comments or in the chatbox instead of on the page for that series.

Manga
- stuff from a few weeks ago that I never put up because I then became occupied with my own work. I'm butting into Loving_Day's great work because I'll forget these links if I don't put them down soon. Most of them have had further releases since then, so I've added the newer ones, too.

• New Series Added - under Completed:
  Undercurrent [n-c-i-s]-- I had this one from 3 weeks ago. It's a short 1 volume, slice-of-life title. A woman struggles with her bath house after her husband disappears. She contemplates the changes in life and refaces two major turning points in her life.

By the way, I uploaded c12-14 about 2 or 3 months after Camui reminded us in the chatbox. Yet, there have been over 100 downloads of those 3 chapters...and absolutely no comments at all - no thank-you, no "I like this manga. " That's rather depressing since this is a licensed series anyway and I don't even read it. I'm just uploading to fill in for Kawaiisue. I'm uploading the recent releases v3c15-v5 as a request from some other people.

We've had a lot of updates and a bunch of new series every week, so check out the older updates if you haven't been here in a while.

MG Stuff

• It's great to see many people responding to many areas of the website in the past two weeks. We were happy to hear from: tero, ayame harushino, clamp, Robin (glad to hear from you again), Camui, and Dinah. Too bad there weren't more for the winter holiday treat.
  ;)


• we edit recent updates often, so read all of the post! To RSS readers: you'll have to refresh your MG feed and personally check posts for edits. I know mine only alerts if there's a new post - not if edits have been made.


• I added information to oneshots about the series or anthology that they came from. This is for those who want to check out more or are curious. There were a lot =_=.
  Note: My information is only as accurate as what's given by the scanlators and MU.

Scanlation

• For those who don't know yet, World of Creation or (WoC)scanlation group closed on Jan 9, 2009. Yes, yes, I know, it's now the end of January that I'm relaying this.


• Shoujo Crusade's website is down, so go to their Lj backup for their news. See Scanlators Directory for address.


• Superior - was picked up by a devoted fan a while ago. There has been a release, so the series is back under Active. I know for sure that ayame harushino noticed it had been moved to Dropped.


• Hadaka no Oujisama - Love kingdom ch5 has been released to those who've been waiting. There is a 2 day waiting period, so we might have the chapter up on Monday.
  @Dinah: Lol, and this is the day after you asked about the series, too! I'm only posting this in case you happen to check the updates.
   


• Those who liked the Oneshot Heaven's Door will be interested to know that there's a sequel story. See Nagareboshi's site for complete details.
